Fall 2020

It is the intention of the School Committee, faculty, and staff to remain on-campus for the Fall 2020!  We will comply with all mandates and guidelines set forth by the state of Massachusetts and the CDC.

Read our COVID Prevention and Management Plan.

We are optimistic that we can be open all day, every day, at HCA!  Our small class sizes (and creative thinking!) uniquely position us to continue "business as normal" during this pandemic.

This video, originally created as part of a series for current HCA families, features members of our school administration and School Committee discussing the 2020-21 school year in light of the mandated school closures during the Spring of 2020.

Our Family Education sheet will be updated as guidelines change during the summer.

Please click this link to view the Virtual Town Hall we hosted Wednesday, Aug. 5th to discuss our plans for a safe reopening for the 2020-21 academic year. This conversation provides important information for every current (and prospective!) HCA parent, and we hope you will watch it.

Admissions Addendum August 2020:

We recognize that the current COVID-19 pandemic has impacted families in many unexpected ways, especially with respect to schooling our children. As public schools have announced hybrid or remote learning plans for the Fall, many are pursuing alternative schooling options for their children. We are glad that you are investigating Holden Christian Academy to meet your family’s needs. In order to better plan for our 2020-21 enrollment, we want you to understand that families enrolling at HCA are committing to a full academic year. Holden Christian Academy has always been dedicated to providing an excellent education for our extended community. The mission is the same in this season of COVID as it has been for 26 years. We remain resolute in:

Honoring God through
Creative learning and strong
Academics in a caring, fun-filled school.

It is important for children to have as much stability and predictability as possible, especially during the uncertainty of a pandemic. Watching children come and go from their classes would only add more stress to the children we serve. This is just one reason why it is so important that you partner with us for a full academic year. Wonderful things happen when children feel safe, wanted and loved at school, and we all look forward to a successful, satisfying year.

You may still choose to pay the total year's tuition due in full or in monthly installments according to our financial policies. We are praying for God’s wisdom and leading for our students, families and greater community and we trust Him implicitly with the days ahead. Families seeking admission will be asked to sign a copy of this agreement before an interview is scheduled.
